  • Governor Ron DeSantis shared Phase 1 to Re-Open Florida May 4th
  • It's back to business for some businesses; however, it's not back to normal! And there are restrictions.

Every business will need to adopt and modify it's operations to comply with the re-opening plan, which include adhering to the Guiding Principles for Re-Opening - Public Health & Safety, Health Care System Readiness, Protection of the Vulnerable, Economic Recovery, Protection of Civil Liberties & Maintaining Individual Rights, Public Confidence, and Partnership with Local Communities.

There were over 100 members of the Re-Open Florida Task Force, representing doctors, health care professionals, government officials, law enforcement, business owners, and others.

To summarize Florida's plan against COVID-19:

    1. Protect the Vulnerable
    2. Increase Testing
    3. Promote Social Distancing
    4. Support Hospitals and Protect Health Care Workers
    5. Prevent Introduction from Outside the State
