Keith A. Veres brings nearly 35 years of experience advising privately held business owners and buyers, along with their families and trusted advisors, on strategic transitions, mergers and acquisitions, capital events, and succession planning. He has completed hundreds of millions of dollars of business transactions. Keith holds two accounting credentials, CPA and CGMA, as well as an exit planning credential, CEPA, combining technical acumen with a holistic, client-centered approach.
Before joining Edison Business Advisors, Keith was a Principal at HBK CPAs & Consultants, a top 50 U.S. accounting and advisory firm, where he led the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services and Corporate Finance practice areas. In that role, he also served as an investment banking representative with a third-party broker-dealer, helping clients raise capital, acquire businesses, or exit through a coordinated and well-executed succession process.
Throughout his career, Keith has worked closely with small and mid-sized businesses to support them at some of the most critical points in their journey—especially when planning for and realizing the value of their life’s work. Keith earned a BA in Accounting with a minor in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management from Mercyhurst University. He is a member of Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), M&A Source, Exit Planning Institute (EPI), Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
