Ryan J. Baldwin, MPA, CBB, CM&AP

Ryan Baldwin has accumulated over thirty years of business experience with an emphasis in business brokerage, real estate, and healthcare management.

Before joining Edison Business Advisors, Ryan successfully established several businesses including a locum tenens physician staffing business, multiple family practice clinics, and an Iowa brokerage.  He has also held executive positions in the healthcare industry including Administrative and Clinical Director positions at UnityPoint Health locations in Des Moines and Urbandale, Iowa.

Ryan has a history of public service and community involvement including serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Dodge Center, Minnesota, the Vice President of the Marion County Board of Realtors, an Ambassador with the Des Moines Westside Chamber, and a member of the Dodge Center, Minnesota; Pender, Nebraska; and St. Charles, Iowa Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Boards.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Northwestern College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Drake University.  Ryan obtained his Certified Merger and Acquisition Professional (CM&AP) designation from M&A Source and his Certified Business Broker (CBB) designation from the Accredited Certification Institute.


Ryan is a member of the International Business Broker Association (IBBA) and M&A Source.



Ryan is a licensed broker in the State of Iowa and currently owns KR Business Brokers, dba KReate, located in Des Moines, Iowa.
